Mark Falkin
Mark Falkin co-founded the Dallas law firm of Falkin &
O'Toole, L.L.P. in 1997. After three years of general practice,
Mark started his solo entertainment, intellectual property
and small business boutique practice. In the summer of 2002,
Mark moved his practice's central office to Austin, the self-described
Live Music Capital of the World. In April 2004, he merged
with Dallas attorney Deck Sachse to create
Falkin+Sachse, PLLC.
Mark received his undergraduate degree from
Southern Methodist University, taking his Bachelor of Arts
degree from the Meadows School of the Arts in 1993. He received
his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of
Law in 1996. He is licensed to practice law in Texas courts
and the United States District Court for the Northern District
of Texas. Mark has substantial experience in representing
businesses and individuals in litigation, transactions and
as counsel in entertainment, intellectual property (concentrating
in the areas of trademark and copyright), cyber, start-up/small
business and employment law matters. He is a member of the
State Bar of Texas, Travis County Bar Association, Dallas
Bar Association, American Bar Association and is the literary,
music, film and legal affairs coordinator for the arts incubator
TIPS On Art in Austin. He is a published and awarded writer,
enjoys playing and following soccer and is the lyricist/vocalist
for the Dallas rock band slackhammer which plays Texas venues
such as Trees, Lucky Lounge and the Aardvark. He grew up in
Tulsa, OK, is married to his college sweetheart, and lives
in central Austin with his family.

Deck Sachse
Prior to founding Falkin+Sachse, PLLC, Mr. Sachse
practiced general litigation as an associate with the Tulsa, Oklahoma
-based law firm of Titus Hillis & Reynolds. As a partner in Falkin+Sachse, PLLC,
Mr. Sachse's practice now focuses on entertainment law, intellectual
property, and business transactions. Mr. Sachse also serves as Head
of Business Affairs for Kirtland Records. He received his bachelor's
degree from the University of Kansas in environmental studies and his
law degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Law. He is a
recording artist (http://www.missiontothesea.com), a member of the
American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), a
published author, and a member of the state bars of Oklahoma, Texas
and Washington.

Dori Karjian
Dori Karjian advises clients on corporate finance and general business planning, including venture capital financings, private placements, corporate governance, contract negotiations, employment matters, and business sales and purchases. Dori has represented emerging companies and entrepreneurs in media services, health care, manufacturing, internet communications, and aerospace. In 2006, Dori joined Sachse, Williams & Falkin and assisted the firm in opening its Seattle office, where he lives with his wife and two young children. In addition to his participation with the firm, Dori is a managing member of Liberty Pacific Capital, LLC, a Seattle based private equity group, active in investing in and developing early stage companies. In that capacity, he serves as General Counsel to Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging, LLC, and Chairman of Liberty Pacific Media, LLC. Dori is a 1998 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and a 1995 graduate of Tufts University, where he received a B.A. in Political Science. Dori is licensed to practice in both Washington and California.
